Jailbreak users may not unfamiliar to a cracker called PlanetBeing. His real name is Yiduo David Wang, from Canada. As the member of iPhone Dev Team, he is the celebrity in jailbreak community, known as much as muscular. PlanetBeing made great contribution to the actual jailbreak and unlock tool development.
PlanetBeing active in the early jailbreak community, in addition to join iPhone Dav Team, he was an associate member of Chronic Dev Team. According to his description of achievements, he is XPwn’s defender, XPwn be applied to the front of the famous jailbreak tool Sn0wbreeze.
He is considered one of the most talented jailbreak crackers, however, mid-2010, PlanetBeing gradually disappear in the jailbreak community, allegedly because of personal and work reasons. When out he is working on a project, his partners said PlanetBeing still participate in this project after exit the jailbreak community.
Today, PlanetBeing reappears in the jailbreak community, and joined forces with Pod2g, Saurik and p0sixninja to form a jailbreak Dream Team, to break the sandbox challenge encountered in A5 jailbreak.
The good news is, PlanetBeing confirmed in his Twitter page that they have resolved sanbox problem,the A5 untethered jailbreak is now out of the sandbox, that’s a great progress! In which, Saurik’s contribution is greatest. PlanetBeing lamented that the problem they faced is more complex the X-Gold 618 (iPhone 4 built-in baseband chip).
The A5 untethered jailbreak should have been released last week but it looks like the jailbreak is more difficult than it was thought. The legendary iPhone hacker p0sixninja informed iDownloadBlog with the following quotes:
