iPhone unknown error summary and solution, the following are commonly occur several errors in iPhone connecting iTunes ,tips and fixes: (for reference)

Unknown Error 1002: iPhone 3G baseband or chip damage, please contact your service provider.

Unknown Error 14: the firmware download existing problems, please re-download. Or contact the firmware download provider.

Method One

1. Press the “Start” button and select “Control Panel.”
2. Open the QuickTime control panel, select the “Audio” tab.
3. In the “Device” column to abolish “security mode (only waveform output)” option, press the “Apply.”

Method Two

1. Press the “Start” button and select “Control Panel.”
2. Open “Sounds and Audio Devices” control panel.
3. Select “Volume” tab.
4. Press the “Speaker Settings” under “Advanced” button.
5. In the “Speaker settings” pop-up menu, press the “stereo headphones.”
6. Press the “Apply”, then click “OK.”
7. Open iTunes.
