Installous can be described as a revolutionary tool, which allows you to directly download cracked IPA or Cydia packages on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, and no replace the MobileInstallation system files, simple operation, much faster than using iTunes sync. And more convenience use with AppShare, just click the package to install, you can also delete the installation package directly. Installous contains extremely rich resources, which can be described as the rival of App Store!
Installous now updated to version 5.0 by AppTrackr, Installous 5 contains more improvements over Installous 4, some new features and various bug fixes. One of the important feature is the BitTorrent downloading support. Installous is the first mobile installation client to support BitTorrent downloading. This is a huge milestone for the community, and we plan to progress further with future updates. Right now, very few applications have torrent support — but that’s a statistic subject to change over the next month or so.
Installous uses magnet links, a decentralized way of obtaining torrent metadata. As a result, we don’t host any .torrent files. We also use peer exchange (PEX), otherwise known as trackerless torrents. Both of these features make the entire process completely decentralized and uninterruptable. Demagnetization may be slow in some cases (especially for obscure apps), but we’ll be working hard to speed up that process.
The best part is being able to pause and resume downloads, something most filehosts don’t support for free users.

New local notification support.
We now support iOS 5′s notification system. As an aside, Apple made it a bit difficult for non-sandboxed applications to use the notification system, so we needed to create a custom BulletinBoard plugin to provide that functionality. To keep Installous running smoothly in semitethered jailbreaks, we are using chpwn’s WeeLoader package.
How to install Installous 5 on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch running iOS 5.1.1, iOS 5.1/5.0.1 and above versions.
Step 1: First of all your iDevice should be jailbroken on iOS 5.1.1 or other version of iOS. You can follow this guide to untethered jailbreak 5.1.1 with Absinthe 2.0.4.
Step 2: Launch Cydia, then add add repository:

How to add repository: Tap on “Manage” tab at the bottom of Cydia, and then tap on the “Sources”. Now tap on the “Edit” button at the top right corner and then on “Add”button on the top left corner of the screen. Fill in the repository link in field and tap on “Add Source” button.
Step 3: Tap on the hackulo repository you added, then search “Installous 5” in the search field and select the Installous 5 from the search result.
Step 4: Tap on the “Install” button and then on the “Confirm” button to install Installous 5.
Step 5: Once installation complete, tap on Restart SpringBoard to reboot your device and you are done.
